How it began
1987 STÖGER AUTOMATION was founded in a private garage in Königsdorf, southern Bavaria, by the current owner Lorenz Stöger, with a production area of 50 m²
1991 Move to nearby Geretsried with premises of 500 m² and 10 staff members
1997 10th anniversary of STÖGER AUTOMATION, 18 employees, TQM introduction (Total Quality Management), TÜV Certification for ISO 9001 compliance
1999 Business Development Award of the district administration Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen for excellent achievement and entrepreneurial activities
2002 Expansion of the premises, with now 2000 m² for production and administration
2007 20 year anniversary of STÖGER AUTOMATION, 35 employees
2011 Move to our own brand new company premises in Königsdorf with a surface area of 5400 m² for production and administration
2012 25th anniversary of STÖGER AUTOMATION; more than 25 patents for innovative development, 60 employees
2015 80 employees and more than 20 national and international sales partners and representatives ensure customer satisfaction with our products. More than 6000 machines are used worldwide by renowned clients.
2016 STÖGER AUTOMATION is growing and employs more than 85 staff members now. TÜV SÜD, one of the major test and certification authorities, has certified us according to the new standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 as the first company in Southern Germany.
2017 30th anniversary of STÖGER AUTOMATION; over 30 patents for innovative development, 90 employees. Over 8.000 systems are used worldwide by our clients.
2018 STÖGER AUTOMATION achieves for the second time a place among the TOP 100 - the 100 most innovative companies in Germany.
2019 in February STÖGER AUTOMATION welcomes the 100th employee to the company. Lorenz Stöger becomes a member of the Senate of Economy. The number of screwdriving systems in operation worldwide increases: over 10,000 systems run reliably at our customers' sites.
