The Königsdorf-based company STÖGER AUTOMATION GmbH has been awarded the BAYERNS BEST 50 prize. The prize is awarded annually by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. Invited to the competition were more than 8,000 medium-sized, owner-managed companies that have proven to be particularly strong in growth and have been able to increase the number of employees and their turnover above average within the last 5 years. The 50 winners were announced on 11 December. "The Corona pandemic poses special challenges for the Bavarian economy. The great innovative strength and willingness to perform of our Bavarian companies are not only growth factors, but also guarantors for successfully mastering this crisis. Today we have awarded the Bavarian Best 50 prize to the best 50 of them," said Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy and Deputy Minister President. Unfortunately, due to Corona, the award could not be presented in a formal ceremony.
