STÖGER AUTOMATION refers to hand-held screwdrivers without automatic bit stroke as “telescope-type” screwdrivers. The operator carries out the tool stroke manually. The tool of the telescope-type screwdriver is pushed against a compression spring. As the screw is automatically fed into the nose piece, the screwdriver can be operated with one hand, while the other hand can be used for parallel working steps. Compared to manual fastening processes this reduces assembly times and improves efficiency.
